Don't we all hate robocalls? And everyone of us knows at least one person who has been affected by one scam or another. The scammers have advanced in this age of technology, and it's time we advanced as well to prevent the scammers from winning.
On June 20, at 2:00, the Linden Library will host Anna Smith, Outreach Coordinator with the Division of Consumer Affairs under the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance. This division works to educate Tennesseeans about scams and deceptive business practices. Anna will give a presentation "Scams Stop Here" to help educate and inform all of us about such topics as:
