What makes a Great Library System?

Over 70 Years Serving Perry County

Today's library is not like your father's library. While you can still check out a book from the library, you can do so much more.

We have computers, book loans over the internet, movies... even our Friends of the Library who help raise funds for our operations.

Friends Book & Bake Sale

The Friends of the Library in Linden are planning their Fall Book and Bake Sale for Saturday, Oct 3, from 10 AM to 2 PM, at the Azbill Community Center. "We have moved the location of the sale to the Azbill Community Center to allow lots more space for social distancing," explained Christine Buckingham, President of the Friends of the Library, sponsors of this important fundraiser. Mark your calendars for the date and the new location. More to come as the date approaches.

What is your library worth to you?

Do you use the library for computer services, to read magazines, borrow electronic books or audiobooks?  Never mind the old fashioned method of borrowing books from your local library.

You may say this is impossible to know, but the State of Tennessee has set up a calculator to attempt to know this number.  Visit Tennessee State Library & Archives to see this special calculator, adapted from the Maine State Library.

Welcome to the Perry County Public Library

“We would like to express our thanks for the privilege of working for the wonderful people in both Linden and Lobelville. Today we serve Perry County with books, movies, and audiobooks, and make them available online as well. Please visit your local library today."
