The Perry County Public Library in Linden is continuing to offer basic computer training classes funded under a Grant Contract by the State of Tennessee. Call the library at 931-589-5011 to register for the classes described below. Space is limited, call soon. Classes will be offered at the Library in Linden, 104 College Avenue, on the street behind the High School.
Class topic: Introduction to the Computer. Saturday, January 26, 2:30 PM. A basic class for beginners who know very little (or nothing!) about computers.
Class topic: Computer Privacy and Security. Monday, January 28, 4:30 PM. This class is for beginners who know a little about computers and want to learn about computer security issues.
Class topic: Social Media. For people with some computer skills who want to know more about Social Media, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter. Monday, February 11 at 4 PM
Class topic: Intro to Email, Files and Other Computer Uses. Saturday, February 16, 2:30 PM. A basic class for beginners who know very little (or nothing!) about computers.
Class topic: Library Resources Online. Monday, February 18, 4:30 PM. A class for those interested in learning about library resources available online.
Class topic: Intro to Multimedia. Saturday, February 23, 2:30 PM. A basic class on multimedia, what it means and what can be done with it.
