Net Neutrality is no longer in existence in the United States.  According to the NY Times, the FCC voted to dismantle rules regulating the businesses that connect consumers to the internet, thus allowing them the power to block websites or charge for higher-quality service for certain content. Read the full story at the NY Times website.  Ajit Pai, the Donald Trump nominee for Chairman of the FCC, said the rollback of the net neutrality rules would eventually help consumers in the hope that broadband providers like AT&T and Comcast could offer a wider variety of service options.
